Treasure Fingers brings the future funk to the Psycho Disco! home base in one of his most eclectic EPs to date.
The title track, “Quantum Funk”, kicks things off with thick syrupy synthwork dripped along heavy-handed chugging drums. Ultra-quantized yet still funky as hell. “Bodyrocking” drops everybody off at the club where a big infectious vocal chant “I rock the party that rocks your body” paves the way for deep 808 kicks. Last and definitely not least, “Big Kick Energy” swings in raw with a vintage 909 drum workout while giving a cheeky nod to those with well-endowed kicks.
